Child Safety Standards
Gay Chat is an adults-only dating app. These standards explain our zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and how to report it.
Effective date: 15 October 2026 · Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Our commitment
Gogy, which operates Gay Chat (gydate.com and the Android app Gay Chat — Chat & Connect, package com.gogy.app), is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation on our service. These Child Safety Standards apply to the website, the Android application, and related services. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines.
We do not allow Gay Chat to be used to exploit children, share CSAM, groom minors, or sexualize anyone under 18 — including fictional, AI-generated, or “teen” roleplay content.
2. Age restriction
Gay Chat is 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
- Users confirm they are 18+ when they create an account.
- Profiles must show an accurate age. Misrepresenting age to appear under 18, or to hide that you are under 18, is prohibited.
- If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete the account and related data.
3. What we prohibit
The following is strictly forbidden and will result in removal, a permanent ban, and referral to authorities where required:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any photo, video, drawing, or other media that sexually depicts a minor, including AI-generated or fictional depictions.
- Sexualization of minors, including “teen,” “barely legal,” age-play, or similar content involving anyone who is or appears under 18.
- Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing links, files, or instructions that facilitate CSAE or CSAM.
- An underage person using Gay Chat, or an adult helping a minor create or keep an account.
4. How to report
If you see suspected CSAE, CSAM, an underage user, or any other child-safety violation, report it immediately. Do not download, copy, or further share the content.
In the app
- Open the person’s profile or chat → Report.
- Choose Child sexual exploitation or Underage user.
- Add any details that help us find the content. Do not attach CSAM files to the report.
By email (dedicated child-safety contact)
Email support@gydate.com with the subject line Child Safety. Include:
- The profile name or URL, and approximate time of the incident.
- A description of what you saw (do not attach CSAM).
- Your Gay Chat email if you have an account, so we can follow up.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (112 in India, 911 in the United States, or your local number), then report to us.
5. How we respond
We treat child-safety reports as the highest priority:
- We review reports as quickly as possible, ahead of ordinary moderation queues.
- We remove violating content and disable or permanently ban the account.
- We may preserve limited records needed for an investigation or a legal report, even if the account is deleted.
- We notify law enforcement or a designated child-protection agency when the law requires it.
- False or abusive reports may themselves lead to enforcement action.
6. Law enforcement and NCMEC
We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child-protection agencies. Where required — including for CSAM involving a United States nexus — we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline. In other jurisdictions we report to the appropriate authority, including cybercrime or child-protection units in India.
You can also report CSAM directly to NCMEC at missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline, and in India to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.
7. How we try to prevent harm
- 18+ eligibility and age confirmation at sign-up.
- Block and report tools on profiles and chats.
- On-device photo checks before profile photos are uploaded.
- Removal of accounts that misrepresent age or post prohibited content.
- These standards, published in the app (Settings → Child Safety Standards) and at this URL for Google Play and the public.
